STATEHOUSE CALENDAR

Open Doors Ohio is a state-wide program to celebrate Ohio’s architecture and historic building preservation. As a partner in this initiative, the Ohio Statehouse will offer surprise tours every day at noon during the second week of September. Each Tour du Jour will have a different theme, and will feature unique locations, artifacts, and activities. The Statehouse has many hidden treasures—take a new tour each day to discover them all! All Tour du Jour participants will receive a passport booklet, and can earn a prize for taking multiple tours. In addition, visitors can explore the Statehouse Museum and exhibitions, enjoy a walk around the beautiful grounds, and complete a scavenger hunt.  This Open Doors event is ideal for visitors ages 8 and older.
