The Ohio Holocaust and Liberators Memorial was dedicated and unveiled on June 2, 2014 on Capitol Square in Columbus, Ohio. The ceremony started in the Ohio Theatre and continued on the grounds of the Ohio Statehouse. Remarks were given by Consul General of Israel Yaron Sideman, Lt. Governor Mary Taylor, Professor Deborah Lipstadt, Governor John Kasich and Designer Daniel Libeskind. Holocaust survivors and liberators were in attendance.
