Inspired by the history of the American Civil War, Columbus musician & historian Steve Ball visits the Ohio Statehouse to perform the songs of the soldiers during this conflict.

In 1861, the recently completed Ohio Statehouse hosted Civil War soldiers as they awaited their orders to head into battle. The year 2011 marks the 150th anniversary of both the start of the Civil War and the opening of the Ohio Statehouse in 1861.
