Description

In addition to the 2,977 memorial flags set up on the lawn of the Ohio Statehouse; the Mount Vernon, Ohio Bagpipe Band and Ohio chapter of Bugles Across America will perform during the schedule below:

 

  • 8:46 a.m.  - Flight #11 strikes the north tower of the World Trade Center.
  • 9:03 a.m.  - Flight #175 strikes the south tower of the World Trade Center
  • 9:37 a.m. - Flight #77 strikes the Pentagon.
  • 10:03 a.m.  - Flight #93 crashes in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.

 

At the appointed times the members of the Mount Vernon Bagpipe Band and Ohio Bugles Across America will render "Amazing Grace" and "Taps" accordingly.
