Description
A quest for religious freedom led 200 German separatists to journey from Europe to the United States, where they established Zoar in 1817. Their unique society survived for 81 years—making it one of the most successful communal settlements in our nation’s history.
The Zoar Village bicentennial travelling exhibit contains six panels relating the history of this historic village, from its beginning to present day. Also included is a Zoar Garden model.
