Description

The Neil House and other hotels are featured in a history display by the staff of the Ohio Statehouse Museum Education Center.  The Map Room exhibit cases contain historical photographs and artifacts related to downtown Columbus.  

 

Columbus historic hotels included are the American Hotel (1836-1895), the Neil House (1839-1980), and the Deshler Hotel (1916-1969).  Keys, postcards, dishes and a mailbox are shown along with stories and photos of downtown hotels from the past.
