Description

In this art installation, students at the Columbus School for Girls responded to the phrase, "When I have a seat at the table, I will use my voice to advocate for..."  The artwork was initially displayed during the 2022 International Day of the Girl in October.  

 

The students were inspired by the Shirley Chisholm quote, "If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair."
