Description

Many items connected to the once 80 acre Civil War Union Military training and Prisoner of War camp which was 4 miles West of downtown Columbus, Ohio will be on display in the Map Room!

 

Just some of the many artifacts will include Confederate POW hand carved art, letters, restraints, photo images, Union Guard personal effects, Civil war Medical items, and much much more.

 

The display will also include a diorama of the types of structures found within the walls of the camp.

 

Learn the history of THE LADY IN GRAY, a ghostly aberration known to haunt the only remaining part of Camp Chase being the Cemetery where nearly 3000 Confederate prisoners are buried.
