“We are sorry to announce that the Leviathan steam locomotive for the 2015 Lincoln Funeral Train will not be able to appear at the Ohio State House Thursday April 24, 2014. The late receipt of funding for the locomotive to come did not allow sufficient time to acquire the necessary permits to transport it to Columbus. Any funds that were sent in will be applied to the train coming to Columbus next year (2015). The project still needs funds to finish the funeral car so contribution are needed to keep the project on schedule so the tour can take place. We sincerely appreciate all of the interest in the train and we know that you will be please when you have the opportunity to see it next year.
