Description

The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board will celebrate National Arts & Humanities Month (NAHM) in October with an artist talk featuring Danielle Poling. The presentation will take place Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Ohio Statehouse.

Danielle Poling is the artist behind the Sunwall Moonwall Murals that were painted in the summer of 2014 at the Cooke Road railroad underpass. The murals emphasize pre-historic Native American culture that thrived in Ohio before European expansion into the new world in the 15th century. Poling will discuss her artist process and outline the project from conception through completion with a multimedia presentation. This event is free and open to the public and will be held in the Governor Thomas Worthington Education Center located in the Museum Gallery of the Ohio Statehouse.
