Located on the Statehouse ground floor in the South Light Court.

The Woman's Relief Corps dedicated this plaque in 1931 to the memory of Ohio's soldiers and sailors who served for the Union in the Civil War. The quote, "Lord God of hosts, be with us yet/Lest we forget, lest we forget" is from Rudyard Kipling's 1897 poem, Recessional.
