Surgeons Gill and D'Onofrio demonstrated medical practices of the Civil War. The 2009 Ohio Statehouse Civil War Encampment on April 24-25, featured President Lincoln as portrayed by Pete Raymond of Wooster, Ohio. Visitors signed a giant birthday card in honor of the bicentennial of Lincoln's birth. The event was hosted by 1st Ohio Light Artillery, Battery A and Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board.
