Ohio World War Memorial
"Ohio World War Memorial", was created by Arthur Ivone in 1930. The term Doughboy refers to US Army soldiers in WW I and to the idea that their uniform buttons resembled flour dumplings cooked in soup. This bronze monument can be seen on the West Plaza of the Ohio Statehouse. Plaques on the base refer to the Armed Forces, Justice, Peace, and women in WW I.
