"Peace" was completed by Bruce Wilder Saville in 1923. The bronze and granite monument honors both the men and women of the Civil War. It was commissioned by the Woman’s Relief Corps of Ohio. It can be seen today on the North grounds of the Ohio Statehouse facing Broad Street.
