State Senator Theodore Milton "Ted" Gray (1927-2024) was Ohio's youngest-elected and longest-serving state senator. He was in the Ohio Senate from 1951 to 1994. He served as Majority Floor Leader in 1962, and later became President Pro Tempore. In the early 1990s, he also chaired the Senate Finance Committee.

Visitation began at 10 a.m. and concluded at 4 p.m. Senator Gray served for 43 years in the Ohio Senate, starting at just 23 years old.
