John Ward (left), descendant of an attendant of Lincoln's 1865 funeral, is shown in 2007 re-enacting the day that Lincoln lay in state in the Ohio Statehouse Rotunda on April 29, 1865. Civil War re-enactors from 1st Ohio Statehouse Light Artillery, Battery A commemorated this event with a replica catafalque.
