The Historic Classroom, a bronze relief sculpture by George Danhires of Kent, Ohio, was created in 1995 to honor Ohio educators and to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio. It can be seen with a companion art work in the Map Room of the Ohio Statehouse.
