NEWS MEDIA

The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board works to protect the Capitol Square Complex while providing easy access by the news media.  

Press vehicles less than 6’ 6” in height may park in the Statehouse Underground Parking Garage.  Standard fees apply.

Engineering Truck Parking

Vehicles of any type are not permitted to park on Statehouse grounds without express permission from CSRAB.

If granted permission, media vehicles must weigh less than 10,000 pounds and must use the handicapped access ramps at the corners of State and High Streets and Broad and High Streets to drive on and off the sidewalks.  

Responsibility for Damages

News stations will be responsible for the cost to repair any damages incurred by station staff and apparatus to the Ohio Statehouse and Senate buildings, contents of the buildings, garage or grounds.
