American Revolution in the Ohio Country - 250The Ohio Statehouse will be CLOSED Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
July 3, 1996
In 1996, "A Capitol Revival" celebrated the restoration of the Ohio Statehouse. "A Salute to the Hands that Built the House," July 3, 1996, hosted all construction workers who participated in the restoration of the Statehouse. Many other events were held in commemoration.
Today, remember the 20th anniversary with a free tour of the Ohio Statehouse and several exhibits about the renovation.
