As a social worker with both a Bachelors and Masters degree in social work, Rep. Whitted has dedicated her life to serving others. Her early career was spent working with children and families to strengthen bonds, address trauma, and develop health coping and communication. After transitioning to work in the medical field with individuals with chronic health conditions, Rep. Whitted further recognized the importance of education and policy, specifically how it directly impacts people in their day-to-day lives.
Rep. Whitted wasan assistant professor on the Educator Track at the University of Cincinnati and serves as the Bachelor of Social Work -Distributed Learning program director and took leave to focus full time on working for the constituents of District 28.
